If you are having a home built, dont count on the builder or county inspectors to catch the problems that will occur as construction continues. Chief Home Inspections can inspect your home at all or any of the phases of construction. It is much easier to get the builder to fix problems before the beginning of the next phase rather than after you have moved in. |
Phase 1 Foundation This inspection takes place before the concrete slab is poured to ensure that the design specifications are complied with. *Note the gray color is a plastic barrier not concrete |
Phase 2
Lintel This is an inspection of the block walls, doors, window openings, steel reinforcements, lintels and block cells before the lintels and cells are filled with concrete.
Phase 3
Pre-Drywall This is an inspection of the roof and wall framing, electrical, plumbing, and A/C ducting before the drywall is installed. |
